Game Jams
January 2026
This was the first ever Game Jam my school hosted. We were supposed to have 2 weeks to finish the game, however we ended up with more than 3 weeks because of snow days. I had a lot of fun with this one.
The chosen theme was: Apocalypse.

Feb. 2026
My school once again hosted a game jam, and this time I did something different. Instead of using Godot, like I usually do, I used Unity.
I'd had some experience with Unity, but not as much as with Godot. Using Unity went a lot better than I thought it would.
I also worked with another person who had a lot more experience in Unity than I did. We worked together pretty well, using GitHub Desktop to collaborate, and we ended up second in the jam, scoring the most points in the 'Most Advanced' category.
The theme was: Together.
We were inspired by games that would perfectly fit a 'Together' theme, like 'So Many Me', and made a game about stacking peas to reach higher areas.
You start as a single pea, and you can find more around the map.
If you press the Up Arrow on your keyboard, the peas all stack on top of each other.
